This policy is written for Codepreme users, customers, and visitors. It is intended to be transparent and practical, but it does not replace a signed agreement, data processing addendum, or product-specific term that applies to a particular service.
Overview and Applicability
Codepreme ("Codepreme," "we," "us," or "our") respects privacy and believes people should understand what information is collected, why it is used, and what choices are available. By accessing or using our services, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy and our applicable Terms of Service.
A "User" is someone who visits or uses a Codepreme website, app, tool, or support resource. A "Customer" is a User with an account, purchase, subscription, project, or service relationship with Codepreme. An "End User" is someone who visits, purchases from, submits information through, books with, or otherwise interacts with a Customer website, app, store, CRM, scheduling page, form, or other project built, hosted, maintained, or supported through Codepreme.
We generally act as a controller for information we collect about Users and Customers to operate our business, deliver services, secure our platform, provide support, process payments, and communicate with you. For information a Customer collects from End Users through a Customer-controlled site, app, form, checkout, scheduler, CRM, or similar workflow, the Customer is generally responsible for determining how that information is handled. In those cases, Codepreme may act as a service provider, processor, contractor, or similar role.

We may collect your name, email address, phone number, business name, username, password, billing details, account preferences, login details, two-factor authentication settings, project contacts, and related information you provide when creating or managing an account, purchasing services, requesting support, or communicating with us.

We may collect information about your websites, apps, templates, domains, hosting configuration, CRM records, forms, scheduling workflows, ecommerce settings, content, files, assets, business details, project notes, support requests, invoices, subscriptions, feature usage, integrations, and service history.
1.3 Payment and Transaction Information
If you buy paid services, we may collect billing address, invoice details, subscription status, transaction records, tax information, payment method type, limited payment card details provided by payment processors, and related purchase information. Complete payment card numbers are typically handled by our payment processors, not stored directly by Codepreme.
1.4 Usage, Device, and Technical Information
We may collect IP address, device identifiers, browser type, operating system, pages viewed, referring pages, timestamps, clicks, searches, load times, errors, session activity, approximate location derived from IP address, cookie identifiers, and other technical information about how Users, Customers, and End Users interact with our services or Customer projects we host or support.
1.5 Communications, Research, and Marketing Information
We may collect emails, chat messages, form submissions, support tickets, call notes, survey responses, promotion entries, marketing preferences, testimonials, feedback, and similar communications. Information you post in public areas of our services may be visible to others.
1.6 Sensitive or Regulated Information
Codepreme services are not designed for storing highly sensitive information such as protected health information, financial account credentials, government identification documents, biometric data, or other regulated data unless we have expressly agreed in writing and appropriate safeguards are in place.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically
We collect certain information automatically through browsers, devices, server logs, cookies, pixels, local storage, analytics tools, security tools, and similar technologies. These technologies help us remember settings, understand usage, measure performance, protect accounts, detect abuse, and improve our services.
2.3 Information From Third Parties
We may receive information from payment processors, domain registrars, hosting providers, analytics providers, advertising platforms, CRM or automation tools, social login providers, integration partners, fraud prevention providers, public sources, and other vendors or partners that help us provide and secure the services.
3. How We Use Information
We use personal information for the purposes described below.
We may de-identify, aggregate, or anonymize information and use it for research, analytics, improvement, troubleshooting, security, and business purposes. We do not attempt to re-identify information that has been de-identified in accordance with applicable law.
4. How We Disclose Information
4.1 Vendors and Service Providers
We may disclose information to vendors that help us operate Codepreme, including hosting providers, cloud infrastructure providers, payment processors, domain and registrar partners, analytics providers, email and communication tools, customer support tools, security vendors, professional advisors, marketing tools, and contractors working on customer projects.
4.2 Integrations and Third-Party Services
If you choose to connect third-party services, plugins, payment tools, social accounts, analytics tools, CRM systems, AI tools, automation platforms, or other integrations, we may disclose information as needed to enable the integration or follow your instructions. Third-party services handle information under their own terms and privacy policies.
4.3 Customers and End Users
If you interact with a Customer-controlled site, app, store, form, scheduler, or CRM workflow, information may be made available to that Customer. Customers are responsible for their own privacy notices and practices for Customer-controlled information.
4.4 Legal, Safety, and Business Transfers
We may disclose information if we believe it is reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to valid legal process, protect rights and property, prevent fraud or abuse, enforce our terms, protect safety, or address security incidents. We may also disclose information in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, sale of assets, or similar business transaction.
5. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, restrict, or object to the processing of personal information. You may also have the right to withdraw consent, opt out of certain marketing, opt out of targeted advertising or certain sharing, and appeal a decision about a privacy request.
You can update some account information through your account settings. You can opt out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe instructions in those messages. You can control cookies through browser settings and, where available, our cookie or privacy controls.
To submit a privacy request, contact us at legal@codepreme.com. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. If you are an End User of a Customer-controlled project, you should contact that Customer to exercise rights for information the Customer controls.
6. How We Protect Information
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards intended to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, misuse, loss, and destruction. These safeguards may include access controls, encryption in transit where appropriate, firewalls, monitoring, backups, vendor review, least privilege practices, authentication controls, and testing for security vulnerabilities.
No service can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, securing your devices, managing authorized users, and promptly notifying us if you suspect unauthorized access or a security issue.
7. How We Retain Information
We retain information for as long as needed to provide services, maintain accounts, complete transactions, support projects, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud, maintain security, and protect our rights and the rights of others.
Retention periods vary depending on the type of information, the purpose for collecting it, legal or contractual requirements, backup cycles, the period during which claims may be brought, and whether information has been aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified. We may retain de-identified information indefinitely.
8. Data Transfers
Codepreme is based in the United States, and personal information may be processed in the United States or other locations where we, our vendors, or our partners operate. These locations may have data protection laws different from the laws where you live.
When required by applicable law, we use appropriate transfer mechanisms, contractual protections, vendor commitments, and other safeguards designed to protect personal information transferred across borders.
9. Updates to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in technology, law, our business, our services, or our privacy practices. When we update the policy, we will revise the effective date and post the current version on our website. If changes are material, we will make reasonable efforts to provide additional notice.
10. Who Controls Information
For Codepreme-controlled information, Codepreme is responsible for the purposes and means of processing. For Customer-controlled information collected through a Customer project, the Customer is generally responsible for the privacy notice, lawful basis, consent, rights requests, and compliance obligations that apply to that information.
If a separate written agreement, data processing addendum, statement of work, or product-specific term applies, that agreement may provide additional details about Codepreme's role and responsibilities.
